Case Management Supervisor, Case Management
Emily joined ACOS in 2022 as a Mental Health Clinician after receiving her master's in social work from Rhode Island College and was promoted to the Case Management Supervisor in 2025. She has previous experience from agencies such as Crossroads, Sojourner House, and is passionate about her private practice work with women across their lifespan. Some of her sweetest work memories also involve serving up pastry with a smile at Knead Doughnuts in Providence.
Emily's love for the performing arts and musicals was the surprising start to her interest in working with individuals with HIV/AIDS after seeing RENT for the first time in middle school.
“I enjoy working at AIDS Care because it allows me to use clinical and critical thinking skills with individuals, while also overseeing and supporting an incredible team of experienced case managers.” - Emily McCarthy
