AIDS Care Ocean State is excited to announce the return of our amazing Mardi Gras Gala! This traditional New Orleans’ Mardi Gras style ball will be held on Friday, February 9th at the historic Rhodes on the Pawtuxet in Cranston and we are honored to have Fred Schneider from the legendary B-52’s as our Honorary Chair this year.
A very limited number of tickets will be sold at the door for $175/person so purchase today to save and help support the services and programs of AIDS Care Ocean State. Hope to see you on Friday!
The evening will feature traditional Mardi Gras fare, live music from Timeless band, DJ & Lights from South Coast Entertainment, dancing and entertainment from TEN31 Productions that will mesmerize guests through the festively decorated ballroom. The always funny Charlie Hall & Doreen Collins are your emcees for the evening with performances by Magician Drew Michaels and JUST ADDED a performance by the impeccable duo Jealousy Jonz & Gia Devaroux.
The historic Rhodes on the Pawtuxet will be transformed into a typical Bourbon Street scene with the sites, smells and sounds of New Orleans. Festive apparel is strongly encouraged but guests who do not come in costume, can stop by the Mardi Gras Costume Shop and get “dolled” up with masks and beads to finish their elegant attire.
