All of us at AIDS Care Ocean State hope this letter finds you well and you have been able to keep cool with all this heat!
I was relaxing on my back porch the other night, enjoying the moon & stars and it got me thinking. The summer has been flying by and probably for you too. It was August 8th which is the official middle of summer so I realized that I was sort of having a Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Now, I definitely wasn’t asleep and it was more like daydreaming but my mind started to drift off toward work. Since I first started working at ACOS years ago, I have always had our mission in the forefront of my mind and it is similar to dreams that I and everyone else at ACOS have on a regular basis:
A world with no new HIV infections and those living with HIV/AIDS do so with support, equality, respect and dignity. We have been and remain firmly rooted in the belief that everyone has the right to quality healthcare and equal access to HIV prevention, treatment and support.
That is what we do every day here at ACOS and that would not be possible without our generous donors like you. Currently, we provide services to more than 500 families.
