Director of Development & Public Relations, Development, Marketing, and Communications


Stephen started at AIDS Care Ocean State in December 2021 and works on communications, development, fundraising events, public relations, donor relations and volunteer coordination. He has lived most of his life in Rhode Island.

Stephen has more than 20 years of experience working in development, fundraising, operations and organizational management. Over his career, Stephen has worked mostly with non-profit organizations in the local area including Community HIV/AIDS Mobilization Project (CHAMP), Rhode Island Patient Advocacy Coalition (RIPAC), Community Action Partnership of Providence (CAPP) as well as AIDS Project RI (APRI) where he served as the Development Director for three years.

In 2023, Stephen was voted "Top Local Activist" in Rhode Island for all of his hard work in many causes including Harm Reduction, HIV/AIDS Awareness & Prevention, Anti-discrimination and other issues that are important to the LGBTQ+ community.
